The brief

LAB 5 was briefed by Bacardi Ltd to execute the BACARDÍ Legacy Cocktail Competition, the world’s largest single brand cocktail competition, which was held in Sydney. LAB 5 has looked after all aspects of the annual Global Final since it was held in San Juan, Puerto Rico in 2012. 

The experience

  • 34 bartenders representing 34 countries

  • 25 events over 7 days

  • 2 days of education, 2 days of Semi-Final competition

  • 1 Grand Final (ft. the Piña Colada song played on the world’s largest pipe organ)

  • 1 incredible Global Winner Franck Dedieu
